Lume is a European Portuguese learning app operated by LOGICLEAP LTD. Contact our privacy team at support@logicleapit.co.uk.

Information and purposes

We process your email, display name and authentication details to provide your account; learning progress, preferences and usage to operate lessons and limits; and purchase status to provide subscriptions. Apple handles payment details. We process these records to provide the service you request, maintain its security and meet applicable legal obligations.

When you choose AI chat, translation, pronunciation or voice practice, your submitted text or audio is processed to provide that feature. Microphone and speech permissions are requested when needed. AI responses can be inaccurate; avoid submitting sensitive personal information.

Service providers

Supabase hosts authentication, database and server functions. The learning apps share infrastructure, with app identifiers used to attribute app activity. Apple provides distribution, sign-in and purchases. xAI supplies AI responses, speech and pronunciation processing. Firebase Analytics measures app usage when configured. AppsFlyer measures installs and attribution when configured. Sentry receives app diagnostics when configured. These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

Optional advertising and marketing

Advertising is not active in the current development build. Before advertising is enabled we will update this policy with the provider and applicable controls. We request permission where required before tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Marketing email requires your opt-in and can be turned off in settings or through an unsubscribe link.

Retention, security and international processing

Account information is retained while needed to provide your account. Some transaction, security and legal records may be retained longer. Provider logs and backups follow provider retention schedules. Information may be processed outside your country; we use applicable contractual protections for international transfers. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Use the account deletion control in the app or email us. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage that separately through Apple. You may complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children and changes

The app is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We will update this page and communicate material changes through appropriate channels.
